Metal Care Instructions:

  1. Turn Off and Cool Down:

    • Ensure any electrical items are turned off and cool before cleaning.
  2. Dust the Metal Surface:

    • Use a soft microfiber cloth to gently dust the metal surface, removing loose dirt and debris.
  3. Prepare Cleaning Solution:

    • Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water in a bowl.
  4. Clean the Metal:

    • Dip a non-abrasive sponge or cloth into the soapy water and wring it out well. Wipe down the metal surface gently.
    • For stubborn stains, use a soft bristle brush dipped in the soapy solution to gently scrub the area.
  5. Rinse the Metal:

    • Dampen another clean microfiber cloth with plain warm water and wipe down the metal surface to remove any soap residue.
  6. Dry Thoroughly:

    • Use a dry microfiber cloth to thoroughly dry the metal surface. This will prevent water spots and streaks.
  7. Polishing (Optional):

    • To restore the shine, apply a small amount of metal polish to a soft cloth and buff the surface. Always test the polish on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn’t damage the finish.

Acrylic Care Instructions:

  1. Dust the Acrylic Surface:

    • Use a soft microfiber cloth to gently dust the acrylic surface, removing any loose dirt and particles.
  2. Prepare Cleaning Solution:

    • Mix mild dish soap with warm water. Alternatively, you can use a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water or an acrylic cleaner.
  3. Clean the Acrylic:

    • Dip a non-abrasive sponge or cloth into the cleaning solution and wring it out. Gently wipe the acrylic surface.
    • For stubborn spots, gently rub with a soft bristle brush or a non-abrasive sponge.
  4. Rinse the Acrylic:

    • Wipe down the surface with another clean, damp microfiber cloth to remove any soap or cleaner residue.
  5. Dry Thoroughly:

    • Use a dry microfiber cloth to thoroughly dry the acrylic surface, avoiding streaks and water spots.

Additional Tips:

  • Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Do not use abrasive cleaners, ammonia, bleach, or acidic substances on metal or acrylic, as they can cause damage.
  • Regular Cleaning: Regular dusting and gentle cleaning can prevent the build-up of grime and reduce the need for more intensive cleaning.
  • Protective Gloves: Wearing gloves can prevent fingerprints and oils from transferring to the metal and acrylic surfaces.
  • Handling Scratches: For light scratches on acrylic, you can use a specialized acrylic polish. For metal, fine scratches can often be buffed out with metal polish.
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause discoloration or damage to both metal and acrylic surfaces.
